⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem – Tapas with Heart, Style, and Soul!

La Carmencita del Puerto is the hidden treasure we’d been searching for our entire trip — the true tapas experience!

It’s best to make a reservation if you want a more intimate setting rather than bar seating. We were lucky that a lovely table became available, and from that moment, everything was perfect.

We started with a litre of sangria which did not disappoint — refreshing, balanced, and full of flavour. From there, we ordered a selection of tapas dishes and were absolutely wowed!

We live in London and are used to dining in some incredible places, but this restaurant genuinely hit the mark and left a mark on us. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and full of passion. This is tapas done with style, finesse, and authenticity.

The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed — warm, modern, and stylish. What truly made the experience exceptional was the team, especially one lady (possibly the owner, we think she’s Bulgarian) — she is the life and soul of this restaurant. Her energy, warmth, and charisma brought the whole experience together and made us feel like we were part of something special.

La Carmencita del Puerto is a must-visit. You’ll leave with a full heart, a happy stomach, and unforgettable memories.

Great food, great drinks and great vibes: our absolute favourite restaurant in Lanzarote! Once you visit La Carmencita del Puerto, you will keep returning.

Me and my husband visit La Carmencita at leest once whenever we visit Lanzarote. We can highly recommend the pollo a la pepitoria and choricitos, but anything they serve is delicious and made with fresh, local ingredients. The homemade sangría is also a must-try. My husband loves the goat cheese ice cream more than any other food in the world: it's just that good!

The owners are absolutely lovely and the staff is great. The new location is great: very accessible and with a beautiful view over the ocean. The atmosphere of the restaurant is both very chill and super cozy: we always feel so relaxed and welcomed here.

We genuinely love La Carmencita del Puerto and we can't wait to book our next trip so we can come back to the restaurant!

Staff was lovely and helpful.

We got codfish, Iberian pork, gnocchi, deserts, and cocktails. All delicious! Th gnocchi and the cocktails were especially good.

We found this little gem on an evening where we fancied dodging the all inclusive buffet in the hotel, and we are so glad we did!

Excellent service, fantastic food and a fabulous atmosphere. Large tapas style modern Spanish dishes. Small menu where every choice is a winner.
Our 10 year old boy said the beef & tuna dish was the nicest restaurant dish he's ever had!

Highly recommend, and would recommend booking, as it was busy and we suspect it always is!

What a lovely restaurant! Greeted like a long lost friend, showed to a lovely little table where we ordered sangria and perused the menu… the staff were very attentive and so happy it was infectious!
Ordered and loved a variety of “small” plates including hummus, sobrisada, coronation chicken, salt cod, tuna and pork cheek.
All the food tasted very good and the overall experience was fantastic!

It would get 10 Star’s if I could, best meal ever what a place staff are superb and the foods excellent, booking will be required but it’s worth it. A gem of a restaurant. Thanks to the attentive staff and fresh tapas ( large portions) we will return.
